Administrators can configure some elements directly from the Nuxeo Platform's user interface.
As an administrator, you are in charge of managing users and groups. You can create news users and groups, edit their properties, or even delete users or groups. You can also manage vocabularies, i.e. the labels displayed in drop down lists.
At a space level, space managers are in charge of managing permissions.
